Welcome to Verborise. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our AI-powered speech coaching application and related services. By accessing or using Verborise, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Verborise, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Verborise provides AI-powered speech coaching services, including:

• Speech analysis and feedback using artificial intelligence
• Pronunciation, grammar, and fluency assessment
• CEFR level evaluation and progress tracking
• Business communication and emergency preparedness training
• Trainer dashboard and analytics (for applicable plans)

3. Account Registration and Security

To use Verborise, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Plan Types

• Free Plan: Limited features and usage
• Starter Plan: $14.99/month or $99.99/year for individual users
• Pro Plan: $24.99/month or $149.99/year with advanced features
• Emergency Interview Prep: $4.99 one-time purchase for 7-day access

Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All payments are processed securely through our payment partners
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• Refunds are provided according to our refund policy

5. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Subscription Terms

Verborise offers auto-renewable subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
• Free Trials: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Verborise
• Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Verborise
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Verborise for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
• Upload content that is inappropriate, offensive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

Verborise and its content are protected by intellectual property laws:

• We own all rights to the Verborise application and services
• You retain ownership of your audio recordings and practice content
• You grant us a license to use your content to provide and improve our services

8. AI Technology and Accuracy

• May not always be 100% accurate or complete

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months

11. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated:

• You may terminate by closing your account
• We may terminate for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your access to the service will cease
• Certain provisions will survive termination

12. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time:
